Silver Alert issued for missing 79-year-old man in Garden Ridge

GARDEN RIDGE, Texas – A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 79-year-old man with cognitive impairment who was last seen Wednesday in Garden Ridge.

Gordan Chisenhall, who has been diagnosed with cognitive impairment, is 5’10” tall, weighs approximately 165 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing glasses, a checkered short-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and brown shoes. He is missing the tip of his left middle finger.

Garden Ridge police say he was last seen around 3 p.m. in the 9500 block of Sumac Circle in Garden Ridge and may have been driving a silver 2014 GMC Sierra with Texas license plate 5TWSM.. The vehicle has a dent above the rear passenger tire.

Law enforcement authorities believe his disappearance poses a credible threat to his own health and safety.
