Osceola MP arrested, charged with assault and stalking

An Osceola County Sheriff’s deputy has been arrested and is facing multiple felony charges, the OCSO said Wednesday. According to the sheriff’s office, an arrest warrant for former deputy Doug Ford was signed by a judge on Tuesday. Ford is accused of domestic violence, aggravated stalking and unauthorized access to a computer system. “It is always a very unfortunate situation to have to arrest a law enforcement officer,” the sheriff said in a statement. “At the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, we hold our deputies to the highest ethical standards and we do not tolerate anyone within our ranks breaking the law.” Additional information on Ford’s charges and arrest were not immediately released. >> This is a developing story. A deputy with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was arrested and faces multiple misdemeanors, the OCSO said Wednesday.

According to the sheriff’s office, a judge signed an arrest warrant for former deputy Doug Ford on Tuesday. Ford is accused of domestic violence, aggravated stalking and unauthorized access to a computer system.
