MISSISSIPPI BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION ISSUES ALERT FOR ESCAPED INMATES

Authorities have issued a statewide alert for two people who escaped from the Claiborne County Detention Center. According to the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation, Tyrekennel Collins and Dezarrious Johnson are currently on the run and are considered armed and dangerous.

Police are urging the public not to approach the escaped inmates if they are spotted. Instead, people are instructed to immediately call 911 or the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office at (601) 437-5161.
