The polygamous trio of Armaan, Payal and Kritika, who seemed to be dripping with love in Bigg Boss OTT Season 3, have reportedly faced a few controversies in the past. A few years ago, the social media star threatened to commit suicide after a fight with his wife.

New Delhi: Armaan Malik is a trending topic all over social media, all thanks to his ongoing Bigg Boss OTT Season 3. The popular social media star entered the controversial house on June 21, 2024, along with his two wives – Payal Malik and Kritika Malik and promised to show his true personality to the fans.

But did you know that in 2019, he attempted suicide after a fight with his better half? According to a report by ndtv.com, Armaan threatened to jump from a 10-storey hotel in the national capital, leading to a late-night drama.

The report further stated that he was accused by his wife and in-laws of raping the housemaid. Armaan refused to come down unless the charges against him were dropped. In the meantime, he reportedly continued to post videos on social media, which gained him new followers.

Armaan was later rescued. It is said that he was taken into police custody after the standoff. The incident was reported by a minor for sexual abuse.

On the other hand, Armaan and Kritika are still going strong in the race for the prestigious title.
