Houston County students get free breakfast and lunch | WDHN

HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — Houston County students will see a big change this upcoming school year.

On Monday, Houston County Schools announced that students at every school will receive free breakfast and lunch through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) during the 2024-25 school year.

This is made possible by the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP).

No meal requests are required under this new program.

Coffee County Schools recently announced they will use the same program, allowing children to eat free lunch and breakfast.
