Metarock Group reports safe evacuation after mine incident

Metarock Group Limited (AU:MYE) has released an update.

Metarock Group Limited has reported that all employees are safe following an incident at the Grosvenor mine in Queensland. Anglo American has suspended production to manage the situation. An underground fire has led to the evacuation of the workforce and will take months to resolve due to the expected underground damage. This will impact the mine’s planned production for 2024.
