Buffalo Cider Hall Shares Sad News of Closing

BUFFALO, N.Y. — In a social media post published Friday, Buffalo Cider Hall announced the sad news that it is closing its doors.

The post was captioned, “This weekend will be the last weekend. Buffalo Cider Hall will be open to the public. This is not goodbye! We will continue to focus on Lake Ontario’s tasting room, Donovan Orchards Estate Ciders – please give us a follow for future pop-up events!”

When the cidery opened in 2018, it was called BlackBird Cider, now renamed Donovan Orchards, with its main location in Barker.

They went on to thank their loyal customers in their farewell message, saying, “We have truly enjoyed serving Buffalo over the past six years. We appreciate every private party, wedding, dog event, yoga, craft night, etc.! This place has been very special to so many!”
