Fultonville woman arrested after argument with neighbors

FULTONVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Fultonville woman was arrested Tuesday after firing a long gun into the air following an argument with her neighbor. Tara Darling, 32, faces several charges.

Police responded to the incident, which occurred Monday. Officials with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said Darling fled before they arrived.


Officials say evidence was recovered from the scene, including a .20-gauge shotgun. An arrest warrant was issued Tuesday and Darling was located at her home on Wednesday. She was taken into custody without incident.

  • Third degree criminal possession of a weapon
  • Reckless endangerment in the first degree
  • Second degree threat

Darling was booked into the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and later arraigned in Root Town Court. She was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
