DALLAS A district judge in Texas has dismissed a woman’s civil lawsuit against Dak Prescott, accusing the Dallas Cowboys quarterback of sexual assault.

The judge’s decision this week came nearly two months after Dallas police decided not to file charges in Prescott’s 2017 case.

Prescott and the woman had sued each other. The quarterback claims the woman demanded $100 million from her to keep her from going public with her allegations. The woman filed a civil suit claiming Prescott sexually assaulted her in a vehicle in the parking lot of a strip club seven years ago.

According to the quarterback’s attorney, Collin County Judge Angela Tucker ruled Wednesday that the woman’s civil lawsuits against Prescott were without merit.

The judge also scheduled a hearing for September 13 to decide whether to impose sanctions against the woman and her legal representatives.

Prescott’s lawyers filed an extortion suit in Collin County, north of Dallas, in March. Prescott denied the woman’s allegations.
