Suspect sought in North New Hyde Park burglary

Police are asking the public for help in identifying the man responsible for breaking into a home in North New Hyde Park on Tuesday.

According to authorities, the suspect entered the Kings Lane home at 3:32 a.m. through an unlocked front window.

According to police, there were people in the house at the time of the incident.

The suspect took a cell phone and a wallet before leaving the scene in an unknown direction.

No arrests have been made yet. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
