Investigators said the victim, whose name was not released, told them that Espinel, the owner of Pan Pan Bakery, had been sexually harassing her since the beginning of the year.

“Being a victim of unwanted sexual advances is traumatic for the person even before it becomes a crime,” said Micheal Aprile, Lt. Micheal Aprile, Longwood Police Department.

Investigators said the victim claimed at the time that Espinel made unwanted sexual advances toward her and touched her inappropriately without her permission during her shift at the bakery at 434 E State Rd.

Lt. Aprile said in April that Espinel showed the employee his genitals, and that same day he showed her a video on his cell phone of her using the employee’s bathroom.

“Everything seemed to be done from a phone through some kind of opening, not a peephole, but just an unrestricted opening that he was able to exploit,” Lt. Aprile said.

Eyewitness News found records showing that Espinel was arrested for assault in 2016 after an employee told investigators at the bakery that he “put his hand up her shirt and touched her breast and his other hand down her pants and.” touched her buttocks”.

His bond was set Monday by a Seminole County judge at $47,000, along with a GPS monitor. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 4.
