Buffalo man arrested for series of property crimes

Buffalo police announced the arrest of Corey Anthony for crimes in 25 incidents, for which he is charged with two robberies, 16 burglaries and 24 thefts, including seven counts of grand theft.

Anthony targeted convenience stores, department stores and grocery stores, primarily in North Buffalo, with incidents dating back to November 2022, according to a news release from the Buffalo Police Department.

Anthony, 34, was investigated by North West District detectives, who were able to link all incidents to a single suspect. He has been arrested 123 times since 2006.
