Rescue operations after flooding in the Emek Hateimanim neighborhood in Ein Kerem – Israel News

Firefighters from the Capital station, with the support of the Jerusalem District Special Rescue Unit, were deployed overnight from Monday to Sunday to rescue people trapped by massive flooding in the Emek Hateimanim neighborhood in Ein Kerem, the Jerusalem District Fire and Rescue Service said on Tuesday morning.

The cause of the flooding was a water main that burst just above the neighborhood, causing huge amounts of water to flood into houses and streets.

There is currently no information available about victims of the incident or other trapped persons.
