Motorcyclist killed in accident in Linda Vista

A 28-year-old motorcyclist was killed late Sunday in the Linda Vista neighborhood when he crashed into a retaining wall, San Diego police said.

The man was riding a Yamaha motorcycle north on Ulric Street, south of Tait Street, around 11:45 p.m. when he crashed, Officer John Buttle said.

He was driving too fast when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a retaining wall, police said. He died at the scene of the accident.

His name has not been released pending notification of his family.
