Seneca Falls Police arrested a Fairport man during an investigation into theft and drunken driving at Walmart.
Adam J. Paulson, 41, of Fairport, was arrested June 23 on charges of theft and drunken driving, according to Seneca Falls City Police.
Police responded to a theft report at Walmart and found that Paulson had stolen merchandise. They also determined that he had driven to the store while intoxicated. Paulson was charged with petty theft, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or more, and driving under the influence. The charges were upgraded to felonies due to prior drunken driving convictions.
Paulson was issued a summons and will appear in Seneca Falls City Court at a later date to face charges.
