Investigations launched after arson attack on Audi A3

An investigation has been launched after an Audi A3 was deliberately set on fire in Clydebank.

The vehicle was set on fire at Queen Mary Crescent at around 2.10am on Saturday 15 June.

Rescue workers were on site and the fire was extinguished.

There were no reports of injuries.

Police said the fire was caused “intentionally” and asked anyone with information to come forward.

Detective Constable Nic Neeson said: “The fire was set while the vehicle was parked in a residential area and I urge anyone with information about what happened to speak to officers.”

“If you were in the Queen Mary Crescent area at the time and saw anything suspicious, or have CCTV or dashcam footage that may have captured something important, please contact us.”
