Fargo man arrested after short chase near Casselton

CASS CO., ND (KVRR) – A Fargo man was arrested after he rammed a patrol car and a brief chase involving the North Dakota Highway Patrol and Cass County Sheriff’s Office ensued near Casselton.

Officers found 32-year-old Jordon Wichman around noon after a report of a man who was possibly under the influence of drugs and having a mental health crisis.

Wichman was taken into custody after attempting to drive through a ditch off I-94 near County Road 9.

He was medically examined and booked into jail for escape, reckless endangerment, evading apprehension and driving under the influence.
