1 dead, 3 suspects on the run after fatal shooting in northwest Oklahoma City

One person died in a shooting at a gas station in northwest Oklahoma City on Saturday, and three suspects are still at large.

According to police, the incident occurred around 11:40 a.m. at Express Gas and Grocery near W. Wilshire and the Northwest Expressway.

The identity of the person killed was not disclosed.

Investigators believe the victim and the suspects argued before the shooting.

Officers arrived at the scene and found the victim dead in the store.

Forensic and homicide investigators arrived in the early afternoon as large groups of people watched the crime scene from across the street.

Neighbors declined to appear on camera but said the victim’s family was among those gathered.

At 6 p.m., police announced that the investigation was still in its early stages.

“We have no further information to release,” said Captain Benjamin Weir of the Oklahoma City Police Department. “All we know is that three unidentified black males entered the store, were involved in the altercation and are currently at large.”

According to police, there is evidence that multiple weapons were used in the shooting.

No pictures or detailed descriptions of the suspects have been released.
