Crushing accident leaves 20-year-old man in Warren with life-threatening injuries

WARREN, Mich. – A 20-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after heavy machinery fell on him in Warren.

The incident occurred at 2 p.m. on Friday (June 7) at DPR Manufacturing on Mound Road.

Warren Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the man’s location and quickly determined that the employee had suffered cardiac arrest and additional life-threatening crush injuries.

They performed advanced life support measures, including establishing an IV and performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

According to officials, the 20-year-old man was placed on a stretcher by firefighters and taken to Ascension Macomb Oakland Hospital.

There is currently no information about his condition.
