Person injured in accident at filming location of “Walking Dead” in Worcester

WORCESTER – A crew member was transported by ambulance Thursday morning from the site where the crew is filming scenes from “The Walking Dead: Dead City” after a makeshift structure collapsed onto the sidewalk.

It happened before 10 a.m. in front of the historic house at 21 Cedar Street, where filming was scheduled to continue on Thursday.

A worker who had been sitting on a ladder was carried on a stretcher to an ambulance with cuts and bruises on his left leg.

The temporary structure was rebuilt and the shooting schedule was not interrupted.
