A Texas man has been arrested for indecent behavior toward juveniles following an investigation by Concordia Parish

CONCORDIA PARISH, La. (KNOE) – A Texas man was arrested following an investigation by the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office Cyber ​​Crime Unit. The investigation began after the man sent offensive images online to what he believed was a child.

According to CPSO, Evan Brooks Shannon, 33, of Fort Worth, Texas, has been positively identified and an arrest warrant has been filed with the National Crime Information Center.

Officials say Shannon was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Fort Worth Police Department on May 6 and will be extradited to Louisiana for prosecution.

Shannon was arrested for indecent behavior with a juvenile.
