Police search for missing woman with dementia in Brownfield

Police and the Maine Warden Service are searching for a missing Brownfield woman. A Silver Alert was issued early Wednesday for Weslene Marble, 64. The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office says she was last seen on Hampshire Road in Brownfield just before 1 p.m. Tuesday. Officials say she was last seen riding a red Trek electric bike and may have been riding north on the Pequawket Trail (Route 113/Route 5) toward Fryeburg, but police are unsure. She was riding with her husband at the time, but police say she rode ahead of him and he lost sight of her. Marble was last seen wearing a white bike helmet and pink shirt. She also had a fluorescent green jacket with her. Police say Marble suffers from dementia and may be very confused. They are asking anyone in the area who has a camera pointed at the road to check to see if she has passed by. Marble is 5’10”, weighs 145 pounds, and has brown hair and blue eyes.
