Suspect arrested in shooting of two teenagers in Tulare County, officials say

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) – An investigation is underway after officials announced that two teenagers were shot and killed in Tulare County on Tuesday.

According to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred around midnight Tuesday near E. Lavinia Avenue in the Pixley community.

When officers arrived, they found two 14-year-olds with gunshot wounds in a vehicle.

Both were taken to hospital, one of them was in critical condition.

At around 1:40 p.m., officers found the suspect, 23-year-old Jeremiah Graham, at a home on Jacob Street near Goshen Avenue in Visalia.

According to officials, Graham fled the house but was arrested a short time later.

He was sent to prison for two counts of attempted murder.

Officials are still investigating what led to the shooting.
