Report: Hezbollah increased its attacks in May to a level not seen since the start of the war

According to a report by the Alma Institute on Sunday, Hezbollah attacked Israel more often last month than in any other month since the war began on October 7.

In May, 325 attacks were carried out, an average of just over ten per day. That is almost 100 more than in April, when the terrorist organization carried out 238 attacks, an average of 7.8 per day.

Hezbollah has also significantly increased its use of anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and anti-tank mines – double the number in April. There were 95 incidents involving ATGMs in May, compared to 50 in April. There were 85 incidents involving anti-tank mines in May, compared to 42 in April.

The use of drones has also increased. In the last four months, the number of reported drone attacks has increased twelvefold. There was also a slight increase in the number of shootings in May.

Hezbollah began its attacks on Israel on October 8, one day after Gaza terrorists attacked Israel. Since then, Hezbollah has carried out 1,964 attacks on the northern border, 46 percent of which targeted infrastructure and civilian areas.

This report comes as Israeli cities in the eastern Galilee are threatened by Hezbollah drones and rockets.
