SAPD: 3 arrests after police follow stolen car on North Side

SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) – Three people were arrested and a stolen car was recovered after it was discovered by the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) Friday evening.

Investigators said the car was seen along East Southcross Road before 11 p.m. Officers pursued the car with the assistance of a police helicopter.

According to SAPD, the car ended up in front of an apartment complex, where two men got out and entered one of the apartments. Officers surrounded the complex in the 1700 block of Parliament Street and ordered the suspects to come out.

Investigators say 21-year-old William Martin was arrested, and police say he has warrants for aggravated robbery and evading arrest. Two teenagers were also arrested, both of whom had warrants for theft and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
