It will remain warm for the season, with rain likely for part of the weekend

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – Friday was a fairly pleasant day with plenty of sunshine and pleasant temperatures. However, the weekend will not be ideal, as rain is again possible on Saturday and parts of Sunday.

The morning will start cool with temperatures in the low 10s. A few showers and sunshine are expected through Saturday afternoon. In the afternoon, skies will become cloudy and rain will begin to move into the region around 2 p.m. The showers will continue into the evening and could affect plans for graduation ceremonies and other outdoor activities.

By dawn tomorrow, the rain will look to be mostly over. Sunday afternoon will be plenty dry, with one or two isolated showers possible. Later in the day, clouds will gradually clear, so a little sunshine is still possible before the weekend is over 🙂 Temperatures will stay close to average this weekend, reaching highs of 25 to 27 degrees on both days.

Temperatures will rise next week, with occasional rain chances. Monday looks to be mostly dry, with highs between 27 and 30 degrees. There is still a chance of isolated showers on Tuesday, and showers are likely for most of Wednesday. Highs will remain at 27 degrees through midweek, then fall to 21 degrees in the second half of the working week.

Today: Increasing cloud cover, afternoon showers; high 77; wind SE 5-10

Tonight: Rain likely; Low 60; Wind SE 5-10
