Shooting in Oakland leaves one dead, one injured and one arrested

OAKLAND — One man was killed and another man was injured and arrested in a shooting in East Oakland Tuesday night, authorities said.

The police have not yet released the names of the 25-year-old who was killed and the 25-year-old who was later arrested.

Both live in Oakland, but police have not yet said whether they know each other.

The shooting occurred shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday in a parking lot in the 10500 block of Foothill Boulevard.

The trigger for the shootout between the men is currently being investigated.
