Apparently, the Venezuelan model wanted the passing train to be in the background of the photo shoot, but accidentally stood too close to the tracks and was sucked into the path of the speeding train.

The emergency services were called to the scene of the accident, but Bermejo died instantly and the paramedics confirmed her death on the spot.

“According to the information we have so far, the victim participated in a photo shoot with a person we have already interviewed and some other witnesses at the crime scene,” said Jalisco state prosecutor Joaquin Mendez Ruiz.

“Everything indicates that it was an accident.

“She came too close to the passing train.

“The force apparently managed to pull her clothing in the direction that led to her death.”

Her body was removed from the tracks and handed over to her family for burial.

The investigation into the woman’s death is ongoing.
