Two women report sexual harassment against NFL players

Two flight attendants sue Washington Commanders kicker Brandon McManus and his former team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, claiming he sexually harassed her during a flight to London for an international game last season, according to court documents obtained ESPN.

The women – identified in the lawsuit as Jane Doe I And Jane Doe II in the lawsuit filed last Friday (May 24) in Duval County Circuit Civil Court – claim that McManus rubbed and ground himself against them, while also accusing the Jaguars of failing to supervise him, resulting in an unsafe work environment for employees on the Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings charter flight that took place on September 28, 2023. Prosecutors are seeking more than $1 million and a jury trial in connection with the incident.

McManus is expected to make a statement either in person or through an attorney on Monday (May 27), while the Jaguars reportedly declined to comment through a representative. The Commanders, who signed McManus to a one-year, $3.6 million contract in March, confirmed they were aware of the allegations against the kicker.

“We were informed earlier today of the civil lawsuit filed against Brandon McManus on May 24. We take allegations of this nature very seriously and are investigating the matter,” the Commanders said in a statement. ESPN“We have communicated with the league office and Brandon’s representative and will refrain from making any further comments at this time.”
