1 dead after fatal hit-and-run accident in Hertford

HERTFORD, NC (WAVY) — A man is dead following a hit-and-run crash in Hertford, NC, according to the North Carolina Highway Patrol.

Police said the man was hit sometime between 9 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. Monday near W. Grubb Street and Don Juan Road.

The man’s body was found on the side of the road shortly after 6 a.m. on Monday.

The police are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact NC Highway Police.
