Police investigate after body found in Connecticut

DEEP RIVER, CT (WWLP) – A suspect is in custody after police were called to a disturbance in Connecticut Saturday night.

At approximately 3:30 p.m., Connecticut State Police were called to a call in Deep River, Connecticut on Maritone Lane where a person was found dead. The identity of the person has not been confirmed and the investigation is ongoing.

A suspect in this investigation has been taken into custody in Massachusetts and there is no active threat to the public. It is not clear what charge the suspect is being held on.
