1 person died in apparent stabbing in Waianae

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Honolulu Emergency Medical Services officials say one person is dead after an apparent stabbing in Waianae early Sunday morning.

Officials say the incident happened around 2 a.m. at Pililaau Community Park.

Police, fire brigade and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident.

According to EMS, paramedics transported a male victim in his 30s to a nearby hospital with a stab wound to his upper body.

The investigation is ongoing.
