Barron Trump was relentlessly attacked after entering politics

Barron Trump has been relentlessly trolled online since he entered the world of politics.

Barron, who turned 18 in March, is the youngest child of former President Donald Trump and the only child with his wife Melania Trump. It was announced Thursday that the teenager will be a Florida delegate to the Republican National Convention in July, along with his half-siblings Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Tiffany Trump.

Since the news broke, Barron Trump has become one of the top trending topics on X, formerly Twitter, with users attacking the high school student.

“Get ready Barron, you’re fair game now,” AOR wrote.

“Throwing your hat in the ring will be an unfortunate experience,” said @DemocracyDennis.

“If he opens his mouth, we will respond accordingly,” Kristin said.

“I’m going to roast this lanky guy like a marshmallow on a campfire,” wrote @theliamnissan.

“The same people who mercilessly mocked Malia and Sasha Obama, who weren’t even in politics, are completely upset that it’s now fair game to criticize Barron Trump, now that he’s an adult , who has entered the political arena,” said @ArtCandee. “Spare me.”

Some users mocked Donald Trump’s recent appearance on Telemundo 51, in which the business mogul misrepresented Barron’s age.

NBC Universal’s Spanish-language channel asked the 77-year-old for his opinion on his son’s entry into politics.

“He’s pretty young, I would say. He’s 17. But if they can do it, I’m all for it,” Trump said.

Other users were happy to see Barron Trump take his first step into politics, with Kellie Anker suggesting he would be “a great president.”

“I hope I’m still around to see Barron Trump 2048,” agreed Vince Langman.

“The truth is that all of the Trump children are successful, smart and well-adjusted. It drives them crazy,” said Marlene Robertson.

Barron Trump largely stayed out of the spotlight during his father’s presidency. After Donald Trump’s inauguration in 2017, his parents waited until the end of the school year to bring Barron to the White House, while the then 10-year-old and Melania remained in New York.

Barron will graduate from Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, Florida, on May 17. Judge Juan Merchan, who is presiding over Donald Trump’s New York criminal trial, granted the former president permission to attend the ceremony.

Trump is charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records allegedly to cover “hush money” payments to Stormy Daniels before the 2016 general election. The adult film star claims to have had a brief affair with Trump in 2006, but the politician has denied the allegations and allegations made against him.

In addition to attending his son’s graduation ceremony, the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential nominee is back on the campaign trail, with Trump reportedly giving the keynote address at the Minnesota Republican Party’s annual Lincoln-Reagan Dinner on the same day.
