Woman suffers abrasions in domestic incident

Salina police find a woman in a parking lot after a domestic dispute.

On Sunday, July 28, a 46-year-old woman and a man from Salina were arguing at a home in the 2300 block of Aurora.

Police Captain James Feldman told KSAL News that the man then left the house in his car, but the woman tried to stop him by jumping halfway through the passenger window. He drove off, dragging her along the street, but eventually pulled her inside.

The man drove to the parking lot of Scooter’s in Ohio, left the woman in the car and walked away.

Police tracked down and arrested 34-year-old Troy Zelfer at a Kwik Fit store. He faces aggravated assault, two warrants and driving while suspended.

The victim is fine, although he suffered abrasions on his right leg and left arm.
