Need Help Removing Storm Debris in Houston? Here’s Who You Can Call

HOUSTON – As Houston residents continue to pick up debris left behind by Hurricane Beryl, officials want to remind those who are physically unable to remove debris that they are not alone and can call for help.

According to the City of Houston’s Office of Emergency Management, assistance is available to those who cannot remove debris or “clean and empty” their property themselves.

The following type of assistance is offered:

  • Cut down fallen trees

  • Removing drywall, flooring or appliances

  • Roofing tarpaulins

  • Mold Mitigation
