Investigation underway after man was shot by Vermont police officer

According to the Vermont State Police, a man was shot during an altercation with state police officers in Burke over the weekend. The investigation is ongoing. Police said the altercation occurred late Sunday evening, shortly after 10 p.m. Officers responded to the scene near the intersection of Vermont Route 114 and Pinkham Road.
