According to the Montgomery County 3rd District Sheriff’s Office, 33-year-old Scott Jacob Baldwin was investigated in June. It was later revealed (through conversations with the woman) that Baldwin “described in detail his sexual interest in children and reported previous sexual contact with other victims in the Tarrant County area.”

Investigators looked into Baldwin’s past and found previous sexual assault allegations in Tarrant County that supported his claims. An arrest warrant was issued and Baldwin was taken into custody at the Montgomery County Jail on June 26, where he is being held on $100,000 bail.
