Police: Motorcyclist seriously injured after rear-end collision on I-70 in Wheat Ridge

DENVER (DNR) — A motorcycle accident with serious injuries Portions of eastbound Interstate 70 in Wheat Ridge were closed Saturday morning.

According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, the middle lane of I-70 west of Wadsworth Boulevard was closed at 9:48 a.m.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the motorcycle had crashed into another car.

The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.
