Texas Rangers prospect Bayron Lora, 18, involved in fatal car accident in Dominican Republic

Bayron Lora, a Texas Rangers outfielder, was involved in a car accident in the Dominican Republic.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported that the Texas Rangers previously signed Lora for $3.9 million as part of the 2019 international signing class. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Lora has not yet played in a professional game.
