Woman charged with counterfeit money investigation

On Tuesday afternoon, a Hopkinsville woman was charged with using counterfeit money to purchase items from someone on Facebook.

Hopkinsville police said they tracked down 18-year-old Skyla Rogers during a traffic stop on North Drive on Tuesday after she used counterfeit money to purchase a Playstation 5 from someone on Facebook on Sunday.

She was arrested and charged with theft by deception and first-degree criminal possession of a forged document.
