1 person killed after overnight shooting

Police responded to a shooting at the Banks home at approximately 2 a.m. Saturday morning. Upon arrival, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound in the 100 block of Marian Spencer Way. The victim was transported to UC Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries. Our teams on the scene learned from family members that the victim was a 16-year-old boy. Police interviewed witnesses at the scene and recovered a firearm, but no suspect is currently in custody. WLWT will continue to update you on the radio and online as we learn more.

CINCINNATI —

Police responded to a shooting near Banks around 2 a.m. Saturday morning.

Upon arrival, they found a male victim with a gunshot wound in the 100 block of Marian Spencer Way.

The victim was taken to UC Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.

Our teams on site learned from family members that the victim was a 16-year-old boy.

Police interviewed witnesses at the scene and recovered a firearm, but no suspect is currently in custody.
