Two-car accident on Sunday requires fire service | Local news

Shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday, Killeen police and firefighters were called to the corner of East Elms Road and South WS Young Drive for an accident involving a fire department rescue vehicle and a four-door red sedan.

The driver of the car, whose identity has not been released, was visibly shaken but confirmed that he suffered no physical injuries in the crash. He was the only passenger in the car, which was traveling eastbound on East Elms Road. The emergency vehicle was traveling northbound on South WS Young Drive when it crossed the intersection in front of the car that had failed to yield.
