Taunton woman killed in Boston shooting

BOSTON (WPRI) — A 27-year-old Taunton woman has been identified as the woman shot and killed in Boston last month.

On May 31, around 11:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a shooting on Edson Street.

When officers arrived, they found Pereshah Shear-Yashub suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. She was taken to the hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

No word about arrests.

The shooting remains under investigation. Police ask anyone with information to call (617) 343-4470.
