Mbbs Students: 4 MBBS students suspended for hazing | Shimla News

Kullu: Four final year MBBS students of Rajendra Prasad Govt Medical College and Hospital, better known as Tanda Medical College, in Kangra district have been suspended and fined up to Rs 100,000 for allegedly harassing their junior fellow students. According to a college official, a total of nine junior students were harassed by the accused after he called them to their hostel in the evening. It is alleged that the junior students were beaten and their clothes torn during the harassment. The affected students had also complained to the National Medical Commission about the incident and after an investigation, the college’s anti-harassment committee decided to suspend the accused students of the 2019 and 2022 batches. While two senior students were fined Rs 100,000 each and suspended for one year, the remaining two were fined Rs 50,000 each and suspended for six months.
