Person hit by car on Campbellton Road in Atlanta, police say

ATLANTA — A person died after being struck by a car on Campbellton Road early Sunday morning, according to Atlanta police.

Officers were called to the scene near Stem’s Cafe around 5:30 a.m.

There is very little additional information at this time. The police, however, clarified that it was not a hit and run.
