VSP investigates police shooting in Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Sergeant Puckett of the Roanoke Police Department reports an officer involved shooting on Hershberger Road on Saturday, June 8th.

No exact details are available yet, but Virginia State Police, Roanoke Fire-EMS and Roanoke Police are on scene.

The corner of Ferncliff Ave and Hershberger Road is closed as VSP officers investigate.
