Justice for rapist: life sentence

Mhlengi Perfect Ngcobo (35) was sentenced to life imprisonment after being found guilty of raping a 13-year-old girl in Msinsini in 2021. Ngcobo, who raped the victim twice, recently appeared in the Port Shepstone Regional Court, where he was found guilty and sentenced accordingly.

He was caught in the act by a family member of the child and subsequently arrested. He appeared in court several times before being convicted. His name will be placed on the National Sex Offender Registry and he was declared unfit to possess a firearm.
