Man dies, woman hospitalized after crashing into tree northwest of Atlanta – WSB-TV Channel 2

Officers arrived on scene and found a Toyota Corolla with a 24-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman in the passenger seat.

The 24-year-old driver was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The passenger was taken to hospital for treatment.

The investigation revealed that the driver was heading north on I-75 when he exited the highway and sped toward the Moores Mill Road exit, causing him to lose control of the vehicle .

The driver hit a tree before coming to a permanent stop in a grassy area off the roadway.

The police are still investigating.
