Shooting in York triggers police investigation

YORK, Pennsylvania – Police are investigating an early morning shooting in York.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:50 a.m. on May 31 in the 300 block of East Philadelphia Street, near North Broad Street, according to York County Emergency Services.

The coroner was not called to the scene, but it is unclear how many people were involved in the shooting and the severity of their injuries.

York City Police are investigating.
