A man was arrested after leading police on a chase through two counties with two children in the car.

According to officials, the chase began Monday evening in Brooke County after a driver failed to stop for a regular traffic stop on West Virginia Route 2.


According to officials, the vehicle continued into downtown Weirton in Hancock County, struck a car on Penn Avenue and drove away.

According to officials, the vehicle was eventually stopped in the area of ​​Standish Hill and Wylie Ridge.

Officers identified the male driver as Levi Stroud. Stroud was arrested and charged with reckless flight and two counts of child neglect endangering health as there were two children in the vehicle.
